The Food Box started over a decade ago in the backyard of our founder, Juan, in Monterrey, Mexico. What began as a passion project soon grew into a full restaurant concept built on one simple idea: delivering fresh, high-quality food with flavor and creativity.

All of our recipes are created by Juan himself — a chef with experience in Michelin-starred kitchens — who brings a thoughtful balance of ingredients to every dish, always focusing on freshness, quality, and bold flavor.

Three years ago, we brought The Food Box to San Diego with our first U.S. location in Pacific Beach. Since then, we've built a reputation for creativity, consistency, and a commitment to excellent service. We’re excited to bring that same energy and dedication to the Qualcomm campus through our partnership with Fooda.
